Atelier Mey, with co-author Daniel Hemmendinger, hosts a round table discussion at the New York Center for Architecture. Join us as current Pamphlet Architecture 36 authors Shawna Meyer, AIA; Daniel Hemmendinger; and Christopher Meyer, AIA, engage in a discussion with the voices that work to shape Pamphlet Architecture‘s unique format. Authors, jury members, and publishers will reflect on the ability of the series to foreground critical agendas grounded in design but entangled in contemporary social, cultural, and environmental issues. The discussion will couple the larger theme of the Pamphlet‘s series role with a discourse on “Buoyant Clarity.” Pamphlet Architecture 36: Buoyant Clarity focuses on the embattled relationship between the environment and urbanism, setting forth prompts for engaging a direct dialogue between a place, its resources, and, in this case, the rising of the sea.
Pamphlet Architecture 36: Buoyant Clarity books will be for sale at the event.
